About Wine Trails

 Patricia Shyne Grant

Hi to all you Wine Lovers, Wine Seekers, Wine Adventurers.

Welcome to Wine Trails.

Since you’re checking out wine trails, we assume you enjoy discovering new wines and exploring new wine regions. We hope this site will be helpful to you — whether you use it to plot out a weekend vineyard visit, decide which trail to explore next, or just enjoy some armchair travel.

Credit for much of the State wine information and Travelogues goes to Jim and Laura Hofman, whose love for wine and travel prompted them to develop WineTrailsUSA.com to share their discoveries of “under the radar” wine-growing regions across the U.S. During my online wine research, We discovered WineTrailsUSA and enjoyed many of their travelogues. We also found that they were about to sell WineTrailsUSA, and the timing of their sale coincided with my long-time dream to share my passion for all things wine by developing a website and blog. Since so much of what we had planned to research and include on my website was already on WineTrailsUSA, finding their website felt like a heaven-sent gift. Thankfully, through mid-February 2013, they routinely updated information for each state as they learned of any changes and now we aim to do the same. We also plan to expand wine coverage by adding new travelogues, features, and blogposts and integrating WineTrailsUSA into the Wine Trails website.

We hope you’ll enjoy the site and share it with your families, friends, neighbors, colleagues -– and wine lovers everywhere.

Cheers!
